KRATERMUSIC is an electronic music label in constant search for unique sounds around the Latam culture. Our music catalog has an infinite range of textures, genres and distinctive sounds made by producers from all regions, backgrounds and influences inside the Mexican borders.
Founded in 2021, KRATERMUSIC has established itself as an electronic music platform, joined by producers and musicians from USA, GERMANY and MEXICO.
Under the direction of Doctor Bagre & Lewis_33 has further embraced its goal of becoming a place for diversity, irreverence, musical uprising and total creative freedom of styles and sounds.
Our music label seeks to encourage the talent of Mexican producers by helping promoting their work.
Our roster have a unique musical vision that had already managed to place their individual projects in global trends, opening new paths for the musical history of our country.
"Dystopie V/A" compilation represents a major landmark in this continuing history of electronic music in Mexico. This unique collection of music profiles some of the artists that gave the previous 12 months of KRATERMUSIC its sound and foundation, but it also casts its gaze forward. Writing new postcards from the future, this collection brings new artists who maintain a connection to that original mission to the fore, charting ways in which this ethos can continue to build bridges and break walls.
Bringing together 7 essential tracks - both classics and exclusive commissions charts a unique line of flight from those artists that helped define the shape of this new music to those who continue to pattern its landscape further.
1.- VULTURE: Spiral + Poetry (Track 6)

Vulture puts full focus on avantgarde music with a consistent 4-tracker album. By aiming for a strong musical coherence and intimacy functionality VULTURE offers four facets of a darker mood with the “Theta EP”. Both tracks taken from this aural material.
2.- SYNCHRONIZERS: The Prophecy

It's great to watch the path that Lewis_33 has taken. This track shines some wan and oppressive light on unusual sounds and additional production are served – a deep and mesmerizing piece of dance floor voodoo and a classy ear catcher. Jams on the brake, making “The Prophecy” a slowed-down multi-layered offbeat deep dub with an overall sound & style of its own.
3.- KULEBRA: Lunar Shade

Kulebra is the dark side from artist Lenny based on Guadalajara. This track is based on beat structures that vary away from typical EBM 4/4. Melodies and soundscapes are built with a special emphasis on raw sounds. As an artist who’s been pushing EBM sounds into the modernity of Techno it was a logical step being part of this compilation. Without Lenny the electronica music history in Guadalajara could not be the same.
4.- DAVID DURST: Imaginary Traces

David Durst: Producer, Composer, Concept.
A unique synthesist who lives in Mexico City. His contribution to the world of Psychodelic Trance was of great value. Today, after some years of working with eurorack systems, David shares with us one of the best IDM tracks of the label; without a doubt, a composer with extensive knowledge in the transmission of ideas by means or sounds.
The influence of Ivo Watts-Russell is reflected in all the sound painting that Abigail shares with us, string instruments that enrich the screams through reverbs and acoustic spatializations that are heard manipulated by analog technology. A great addition to the label without a doubt, Presentir is a track that takes you deep into the psyche.
7.- LEWIS_33: Der kampf gegen men ich

A track influenced by the ACID sound of the 90's, slow, dark, mechanical, almost insensitive but at the same time piercing enough to obsess lovers of techno and variants of the 303 sound. Lewis_33 is undoubtedly a fundamental pillar of Mexican contemporary history developing multiple artistic facets that range from musical production to digital distribution.
